Who we are
We are dedicated to providing funds and support for projects to feed, clothe, and educate destitute Haitian children. H.E.S.P. was established in 1981 and has not missed a year of supporting destitute children in Haiti since conception.

The need is real
Why we exist.
- Half of the children under 5 are malnourished.
- 80 out of 1,000 Haitian children never see their first birthday.
- 50% of primary school age children are not enrolled in school.
- One-third of girls over six never go to school.
- Approximately 30% of children attending primary school will not make it to third grade; 60% leave before sixth grade.
- Less than 20% of schools have electricity; 39% have potable water; 15% have a library.
- 37.9% of the population is unable to read or write.
